Vesna Baxtali Vuletic ha condiviso l'album di Idea Rom Onlus.
Idea Rom Onlus ha aggiunto 28 nuove foto datate 17 marzo all'album: SERCo: PRIME LUCI SULL'IMPRENDITORIA SOCIALE ROM A TORINO.
Oltre 150 persone, la gran parte Rom provenienti dalle baraccopoli di Torino, hanno partecipato, nei locali del Centro di Aggregazione Culturale di via Cavagnolo 7 a Torino, alla presentazione del progetto europeo SERCo (Social Entrepreneurship for Roma Communities) organizzata da Idea Rom.
Come è stato spiegato nel corso della conferenza, l'obiettivo del
progetto è quello di promuovere l'economia sociale come strumento per
l'inclusione economica delle comunità Rom.
Numerosi sono stati i relatori che si sono alternati durante la giornata, tra questi anche Viviana Ferrero, presidente della Commissione Pari Opportunità del Comune di Torino che ha rivolto un sentitissimo saluto istituzionale ai partecipanti.
Diverse le esperienze lavorative emerse come quella di Zaim Halilovic, imprenditore Rom impegnato nella raccolta di materiale ferroso, che ha raccontato come la regolarizzazione della propria posizione lavorativa abbia permesso di vivere e lavorare oggi con maggior continuità e serenità.
Un altro intervento, come quello fatto da Ettore Racca, imprenditore e artista di Sinto, ha sottolineato l'importanza di operare sempre all'interno dei limiti imposti dalla legalità e come questa sia uno strumento per dare maggiore dignità e sicurezza al proprio lavoro.
Fra gli interventi al centro dell'incontro quelli dei rappresentanti di importanti cooperative sociali di Torino che, oltre descrivere la propria esperienza, hanno indicato importanti filoni imprenditoriali su cui poter investire energie e speranze.
Una partecipazione così alta, sia dal punto di vista numerico che di contenuti, non può che essere un interessante punto di partenza per puntare all'apertura di nuove imprese sociali nelle quali i Rom abbiano ruoli significativi per numero e tipologia di occupazioni lavorative.

SERCo: FIRST LIGHT ON ROMA SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN TURIN
Over 150 people, mostly Roma from the slums of Turin, attended, at the Cultural Aggregation Center in Via Cavagnolo 7 in Turin, at the presentation of the European project Serco (Social Entrepreneurship for Roma Communities) organized by Idea Rom.
As explained during the conference, the project's aim is to promote the social economy as a tool for economic inclusion of Roma communities.
There were numerous speakers who took turns during the day, among them also Viviana Ferrero, President of the Equal Opportunities Commission of the City of Turin who addressed warm institutional greetings to the participants.
Different work experiences emerged as the one of Zaim Halilovic, Roma entrepreneur engaged in the collection of ferrous material, which told how the regularization of his employment status allowed him to live and work today with greater continuity and serenity.
Another speech, such as that made by Ettore Racca, Sinto entrepreneur and artist, stressed the importance of working always within the limits imposed by law and that this is an instrument to give greater dignity and safety to the work.
Among the speeches, at the center of the meeting were those of important social cooperatives based in Turin that, in addition to describe their experience, have indicated major business strands on which to invest energy and hopes.
Such an high participation, both from a numerical and a contents point of view, can only be an interesting start to point to the opening of new social enterprises in which Roma people have significant roles for the number and type of job occupations.
