Update on Via Idro: evictions postponed until court decides!
Feb 16, 2016 — The Roma from via Idro, Consulta Rom e Sinti di Milan and other organisations and supporters succeeded to have a court case to avoid the eviction! The case at the Administrative Tribunal (TAR) is due on March 3rd. Until then the evictions are postponed. But we still fear that before the upcoming elections the eviction will take place. We hope we can count on your support.
CoE Commissioner for Human Rights, Nils Muižnieks, wrote a firm letter on the evictions to the Italian prime Minister, but also to Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, France, Hungary and Sweden! See more on http://bit.ly/1SQbG5Y. Thanks you Mr. Muižnieks.
